What We Believe

Mission Statement:  Building a strong family, who impacts their world for Christ.

Vision Statement: We are a Bible centered church. Through prayer and Godly leadership we are training, equipping and teaching all people to live Godly lives.

We believe that the Bible is the only inspired, infallible and authoritative word of God.  We believe it is the final authority on all matters of faith and life, written by God himself.

We believe that there is only one true God who exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus was born to his earthly mother Mary, who was a virgin.

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, led a sinless life on earth, and performed miracles through the power of God.

We believe that Jesus died a criminal’s death on the cross to pay the price for every sin and provide the necessary reconciliation between God and man.  He rose again three days later and went to take his throne in heaven.

We believe that Jesus will return at a time known only to Him in power and glory.  He will resurrect and judge the believers and the lost, and will establish his eternal kingdom.

We believe that God created man to have a relationship with Him, but that relationship was broken when sin entered the world.   Our human nature is sinful, but Jesus came to provide the atoning sacrifice necessary to pay for our sins, and faith in Jesus Christ and this act of redemption is the only way to eternal salvation.  With this gift of His saving grace, that we cannot earn, we can walk in relationship with him.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in every human as a deposit from God, working to show us our need for salvation.  The same Holy Spirit enables us to live godly lives, and empowers us with supernatural gifting to edify and serve the church.

We believe the Bible teaches us to gather together as a local church body for prayer, worship, fellowship of believers, and to observe the Lord’s Supper, and Baptism of believers.

We believe that as Christians we should live a life of integrity consistent with the character of Jesus Christ and Biblical principles.
